The "Start of Something New"

Firstly, I am terribly, terribly sorry for quoting HSM. I am definately not a fan, I just couldn't think of anything better!

Ok, so, this is my "get thin/toned" blog! Basically, i'm going to record what I eat, and possibly what I weigh (to be honest, it depends how brave i'm feeling.) The reason I have decided to do this? I was reading this issue of Company, and I came accross an article that stated people that take photos of their food & log it are more likely to loose 3X as much weight as someone who doesn't!

Here's a bit about me:
I fully admit that i'm not fat, and for anybody that stumbles accross this blog, please no "you're annorexic doing this to yourself!" rants.. I plan to eat thanks. I just want to be slimmer & more toned, as the summer is coming up, which means the bikinis are coming out.

I'm 5 ft 7.5, which is ok. It's tall-ish (i'd be 5 ft 9 if I had my way, but whatever) so I fully accept that i'm never going to weigh 7 stone.. as frankly i'd look like a fairly hideous twiglet.

BASICALLY I really do just want to tone up. I also love fashion & clothes, and I want to be able to look good in them! ALL of them! I love all the bustier tops, and the hot pant shorts, but right now i'm simply not confident to wear them.

Finally, I have recently been accepted by an acting/modelling agency.. which does put a fair amount of pressure on to be thin. Fact.

Ok, wait, there is one more! I'm going to Portugal with my INCREDIBLY skinny best friend, Bronwyn, this year. She is super skinny, my bone structure would never allow me to be that thin (she's very petit) but i'd rather not feel like the beached whale, especially as i'm the single one.

So, without further ado, I present to you my desperate attempt to excersize & healthy-eat my way back into a size 8! (It's slipped to a 10 over the winter, and I don't like it!)

I shall start properly, tomorrow!
